The CABI culture collection, formerly IMI-International Mycological Institute, is a microbial domain Biological Resource Centre (mBRC) embedded in the CABI UK Centre in Egham UK. It is an internationally owned collection holding the UK National Collection of Fungus Cultures.

National Collection of Plant Pathogenic Bacteria (NCPPB)

The Collection exists primarily to preserve and maintain, for use by research and educational establishments, and by industry, cultures of the world's bacterial plant pathogens. 

 

National Collection of Yeast Cultures (NCYC)

Pathogenic yeasts and fungi from clinical sources are held at the National Collection of Pathogenic Fungi. In general, the NCYC holds non-pathogenic yeasts but there are certain exceptions to this and the following comments are included as a guide to users.
